General Summary/Objective:
We are actively seeking a hard-working, intelligent, and energetic individual to join our growing group of finance professionals. In addition to supporting the general functions of the Finance Department, your day-to-day responsibilities will include overall management of finances for a variety of interesting clinical trials, while acting as liaison between clinical trial sponsors and research sites.
Duties:
As Research Billing Analyst, you will report to the Supervisor, Senior Research Billing Analyst and will perform the following:
· Enter sponsor-approved research study budget details into BRANY’s proprietary software application.
· Generate monthly invoices to study sponsors based upon research activity entered by external research sites into BRANY’s proprietary software application.
· Perform continuous follow up on past due invoices through email, phone, and other communication methods.
· Reconcile payments received from study sponsors with internal records, and process payments to external research sites.
· Upon completion of a study, perform a final financial reconciliation of study activities.
· Participate in other departmental projects as necessary*.

Education required:
Associate degree in Business (Finance or Accounting preferred) from an accredited university.
Experience Required:
Minimum two years of experience working in a Finance/Accounting Department.
Qualifications:
Applicant should be a detail-oriented and capable problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical skills to identify errors and inconsistencies. Should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task and work as part of a team. Applicant must be able to learn proprietary software quickly, be familiar with Microsoft Word, and possess strong Microsoft Excel skills.

*This position is remote but requires the employee to work in the Melville office with the Finance team two days per month.
Physical Demands and Environment:
This position operates in an office environment using standard office equipment. It is largely a deskbound role. The position requires the individual to see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers, and reach with hands and arms.

Salary/Exempt Status/Hours:
$60,000 – $65,000/Non-Exempt
Wage is based upon a 7-hour workday, for a total of 35 hours/week
