Description
This course offers a foundational introduction to quantitative methods, focusing on the principles and techniques used to collect, analyze, and interpret numerical data. Participants will explore key concepts such as variables, measurement, sampling, and basic statistical analysis. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with the essential skills to apply quantitative methods in research, evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.

Meet the Authors
Angela Bruch, PhD – Capella University
Angela Bruch is an Associate Professor and former IRB Chair. She also serves as an IRB reviewer for BRANY. Angela holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from DePaul University. She has served as a dissertation chair and research methods teacher for almost two decades.
Ellen Mink, PhD – Capella University
Dr. Ellen Mink is a researcher, educator, and leader in quantitative methods. With a PhD in Counseling Psychology, she has co-investigated NIAAA- and NIDA-funded studies on addiction and families and mentors faculty and doctoral students in research strategy, methodology, and publication.
