About these Courses

The Telehealth for Managing Pathogens in Hospital Settings course explores how to adopt and integrate telehealth or telemedicine technologies including Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and an Isolation Communication Management System (iSOCOMS) to manage emerging pathogens. Telemedicine, when used to care for patients hospitalized with a highly infectious pathogen, represents an important new use of technology. The Telehealth & Stroke Diagnosis and Management course explores the practical tenets of stroke telemedicine. It provides learners with an appreciation for the unique and pivotal role of telestroke in the wider world of telehealth.
