Bill Greer has been responsible for research compliance oversight for over 30 years. He currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Research at the University of Michigan and oversees research compliance for the Animal Care, Biosafety, and Controlled Substance programs. His previous roles included Associate Director for Research Compliance at the Pennsylvania State University, and production manager, researcher, Safety Officer and Director of Compliance Oversight at Intervet, State College, PA (An animal vaccine company, formally known as Tri Bio Laboratories). During his tenures, he has served as an IACUC co-chair, a Biosafety Committee Chair, and the Safety Committee Chair.
