Danielle Walters, PhD

Danielle Walters is an independent global learning practitioner, scholar, and consultant helping higher education institutions build meaningful, accessible, and sustainable cultures of global learning through authentic partnerships. Her work spans faculty development, curriculum design, international education, and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), with a particular focus on expanding access and embedding global learning strategically across institutions and curricula. Drawing on experience as a faculty member, international educator, and administrator, she works with institutions to connect global learning to broader priorities including student success and workforce readiness. She is a COIL Fellow and Associate Editor of the Journal of Virtual Exchange.
