Danielle Walters, PhD

Dr. Danielle Walters is the COIL Manager at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Chair of the Tennessee Association of International Educators. With a PhD in Romance Languages, she brings extensive experience in language education, study abroad, global program management, international exchanges, and U.S. higher education policy. Dr. Walters has a strong focus on fostering cross-cultural understanding and has developed numerous Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiatives. She has contributed to various high-impact projects and served as a thought leader in aligning international education strategies with institutional goals. Her work is dedicated to advancing global engagement and student success.
