Learn About and Celebrate National Public Health Week 2022

Every year, the American Public Health Association organizes National Public Health Week (NPHW) not only to recognize contributions to public health, but to address important issues affecting the health of the United States. This year’s theme “Public health is where you are” aims to spotlight the underlying causes resulting in poor health and disease risk in our schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods. The focus is on inclusion and equity, which can guide decision-making to benefit everyone’s well-being, strengthening the health of our communities.

  • Free online events including conversations and webinars on topics like the public health workforce, community collaboration, and closing the health equity gap.
  • Fact sheets and infographics to share with friend, family, and social platforms.
  • A list to find local events of over 130 community events across the U.S.
