Description

This course provides faculty, staff, and administrators with a foundational understanding of program assessment in higher education. Learners will learn how to design meaningful learning outcomes, collect and analyze assessment data, and use results to improve academic and co-curricular programs. The course emphasizes practical tools and strategies for creating a culture of continuous improvement across campus.

Yao Zhang Hill, PhD – The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa

Yao Zhang Hill, PhD, is a Specialist (Professor-rank faculty) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She directs the Assessment and Curriculum Support Center, overseeing institutional and program learning assessment through research, consultations, workshops, and collaborative initiatives. Her expertise includes facilitative assessment leadership, learning improvement, and technology-enhanced assessment.
