Cindy Gates graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law in 2001. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Middle Georgia State University in 1984. With over two decades of experience in human subject research protection, Cindy Gates has become a respected figure in the field. She worked for WIRB for 12 years, where she was VP for 4 years. She served as the Director of IRB at UC Davis and University of Miami. She has also worked for the human subject protection programs at Houston Methodist Medical Center and the George Washington University. Cindy serves as a writer for CITI Program and is a member of CITI Program’s Executive Advisory Board.
