Mental Health Awareness Month 2022

Started in 1949, by Mental Health America (MHA), Mental Health Awareness Month is a time to raise awareness and educate the public about mental illness, its realities, and the importance of mental health and wellness. We invite you to join CITI Program and spread the word about the importance of mental health. Utilize this year’s toolkit to help promote this year’s theme, Back to Basics, to reinforce foundational knowledge about mental health and mental health conditions. Visit MHA’s Mental Health Month page to download the toolkit and for more information about how to get involved, public policy, and more. This year’s toolkit includes:

  • Outreach ideas for individuals and organizations
  • Social media resources including sample language, hashtags, and images for several social media platforms
  • Resources from MHA and more

Additionally, make sure to review CITI Program’s mental health training content below as well as our latest podcast episode on supporting faculty mental health.
