NIH Selects Next Chief Medical and Scientific Officer for the All of Us Research Program

Geoffrey Ginsburg, MD, PhD has been selected by the National Institutes of Health to serve as the next chief medical and scientific officer for the All of Us Research Program. Dr. Ginsburg will lead the Division of Medical and Scientific Research, working to utilize the research program’s data on individual differences in lifestyle, environment, and biology, to transform and accelerate research and improve health. Specifically, he will be responsible for:

  • Helping set the scientific vision and strategy for the program.
  • Overseeing the program’s collection and curation of data.
  • Integrating new data types to support a wide range of impactful scientific discoveries.
