This webinar will review some of the basic terminology and definitions related to artificial intelligence in an academic setting. It will discuss the positive and negative impacts that generative AI programs could have in an academic setting. The webinar will prompt participants to think about their institutional policies, procedures, and practices and how these could affect teaching and learning at their institutions. It will then discuss how to foster a culture of integrity and promote ethical thinking. It concludes with examples as “food for thought.”
