About this Course

This course is designed to prepare the learner for interpretation of continuous glucose monitoring data. The program is divided into four modules: the basics of AGP, AGP reports, interpretation of AGP, and case studies. All AGP-related materials were based on data collected using currently available continuous glucose monitoring systems.

Course Highlights:

  • AGP is constructed in terms of its five frequency distribution curves
  • AGP represents glucose exposure, variability, stability and hypoglycemia risk
  • Recognition of normal glucose patters
  • Appreciation of the predictive value of AGP

Language Availability: English

Course Content

Telehealth & Continuous Glucose Monitoring CME/CEU Badge

Learning Objectives:

  • Articulate the differences between a single glucose value from the multiple values provided through Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) assessment.
  • Describe the characteristics used in AGP including glucose exposure, variability, stability and oscillations.
  • Analyze measurements of glucose stability and oscillations, dysglycemia
  • Determine how to manage glucose patterns and outlier values in AGP.
  • Describe the AGP characteristics of normal glucose metabolism
  • Identify how to utilize the predictive value of AGP.
