Human subjects training provides researchers, research administrators, and others involved in research that involves human subjects with a core ethical and regulatory foundation on how to conduct that research. Our human subjects training covers critical areas such as working with an Institutional Review Board, informed consent, unanticipated problems, and populations in research that require additional considerations or protections.
Comprehensive courses provide expanded training covering not only major topical areas but also many concepts that are specific to types of research, roles in the protection of human subjects, and advanced modules on informed consent topics, vulnerable populations, phase I research, data and safety monitoring, big data research, mobile apps research, and disaster and conflict research.
Foundation and Comprehensive formats provide varying levels of depth to meet learner needs, while refresher course options provide retraining for individuals who have already completed a basic course.
Additional modules of interest allow for the exploration of several important topics and may be selected to meet organizational needs.
