Description

This course provides an overview of lockout/tagout (LOTO) principles and OSHA requirements, helping learners understand how to control hazardous energy during equipment servicing and maintenance. Learners will explore common energy sources, learn how to conduct risk assessments, master the development of written energy control programs and standard operating procedures, and understand the roles and training requirements of employees involved in LOTO activities. The course also covers energy isolation verification, documentation, periodic inspections, and best practices for maintaining an effective and compliant LOTO program.
