Description

This course provides a foundational overview of the nutraceuticals and dietary supplements. Learners will explore key definitions and classifications, the regulatory framework governing supplements in the United States, consumer trends shaping the marketplace, and the role of product development, manufacturing, and quality control in ensuring product quality and compliance. The course also introduces essential concepts in branding, marketing, and commercialization, thereby equipping participants with practical knowledge to understand how nutraceutical products move from concept to consumer.
