Understanding and addressing campus mental health and inequalities therein from a public health perspective has become more prominent in recent years. This webinar focuses on mental health in higher education, the prevalence of depression, anxiety, and suicidality, as well as trends over time. It discusses help-seeking for mental health, barriers to treatment, and inequities in access and concludes with the role of faculty and the need to support employee well-being.

Sarah Lipson, PhD, EdM – Boston University School of Public Health and Healthy Minds Network
Sarah Ketchen Lipson is an assistant professor at the Boston University School of Public Health and Principal Investigator of the Healthy Minds Network. Her research focuses on understanding and addressing mental health in higher education and has been funded the National Institute of Mental Health, WT Grant Foundation, among others.
