About this Course


Essentials for IACUC Members provides an in-depth look at Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) responsibilities, authority, and membership, as well as the IACUC’s relationship with the institutional official (IO). It also discusses the review of animal-use protocols and the required semi-annual program review and facilities inspection, as well as the procedures for investigating allegations of improper animal care and use.
