Description
This course provides a practical approach to data sharing in biomedical research, with a focus on human subjects data and real-world implementation. Learners will explore how to apply ethical principles and regulatory requirements while preparing and sharing data in compliant and responsible ways. Emphasis is placed on protecting participant privacy, using appropriate standards and tools, and supporting effective collaboration across research settings.

Leslie Howes, MPH, CIP – Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health
Leslie Howes, Director for the Office of Regulatory Affairs and Research Compliance (ORARC), is responsible for a broad range of research compliance activities and initiatives at the Harvard Chan School. Leslie also oversees the Harvard Longwood Campus Human Research Protection Program, including IRB Operations and the its QA/QI Program.
