Description

CITI Program is pleased to announce a new course designed to help higher education faculty, instructional designers, international education professionals, and academic leaders integrate global and intercultural learning across courses and programs. Participants will explore practical strategies for developing global competence through intentional course design, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), inclusive teaching practices, and authentic assessment. The course also examines how global learning initiatives can support career-readiness competencies, including communication, teamwork, critical thinking, technology, and equity and inclusion, helping institutions create more meaningful and accessible learning experiences for students.

Danielle Walters is an independent global learning practitioner, scholar, and consultant helping higher education institutions build accessible, sustainable cultures of global learning. Her work focuses on faculty development, curriculum design, international partnerships, and Collaborative Online International Learning, with an emphasis on expanding access and embedding global learning strategically across institutions.
