In an effort to improve the U.S. government’s capabilities to speed research, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) is proposing the establishment of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). Join the OSTP for listening sessions organized to obtain feedback from patient advocacy groups, industry, scientific professional organizations, and other stakeholders. Upcoming sessions for advocates in various health areas include:

  • Advocates for Research on Minority Health and Health Disparities, and Nursing
  • Advocates for Research on Addiction and Alcoholism
  • Advocates for Research on Diabetes, Digestive Disorders and Kidney Disease, Child and Maternal Health, and Complementary and Integrative Medicine
  • Advocates for Biomedical and Translational Research and General Medicine
  • Advocates for Research on Allergies and Infectious Diseases, and Global Health
  • Advocates for Research on Genomics, Biomedical Engineering and Imaging, and Health Informatics, and Medical Libraries
  • Advocates for Research on Neurology and Mental Health
