Research administration professionals support research through several different roles. There are those involved in sponsored programs, others involved in research compliance, and still others supporting research integrity and ethics. This webinar focuses on the speaker’s experience and lessons learned transitioning between research administration roles (animal research compliance, human subjects research compliance, and research integrity). The webinar explores the skills gained through this work and their potential usefulness in other roles.

Iris Jenkins, MS, PhDVirginia Tech

Dr. Jenkins currently serves as the Director of the Research Integrity and Consultation Program at Virginia Tech. Previously, she served as the Associate Director of Research Compliance, leading the Human Research Protection Program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also served in roles supporting the IACUC and IBC.
