On June 16, 2022, the White House established a Task Force to tackle online harassment and abuse, particularly in technology-facilitated gender-based violence cases. This Task Force collaborates with survivors, advocates, educators, experts from various fields, and the private sector. Their primary goal is to formulate precise recommendations to enhance preventive, responsive, and protective measures, both nationally and internationally, through implementing programs and policies.

Join the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for Understanding and Addressing the Health Impacts of Online Abuse and Harassment, a two-day virtual scientific workshop on December 7th and 8th, 2023. Its objective is to understand better the clinical, health, and developmental consequences of online harassment and abuse while simultaneously devising inventive strategies for prevention and intervention. Join them in this collective effort to foster a safer online environment.
