OHRP Guidance on the Effects of Disasters on Human Research Protections Programs

IRB oversight of research is an important concern for organizations affected by hurricanes and other disasters. In response to multiple inquiries, on 14 May 2018 the OHRP published a new guidance, “Effects of Disasters on Human Research Protections Programs Guidance” to inform the public on OHRP’s general policy concerning this matter.
