This annual celebration reflects Dr. Matilda White Riley’s vision of research excellence in health-related behavioral and social sciences. Her leadership and groundbreaking work continue to inspire scholars worldwide.

Distinguished Lecturer and Honoree Lectures

Bernice Pescosolido, PhD, Professor of Sociology at Indiana University, will serve as the Distinguished Lecturer. Dr. Pescosolido’s lecture, “The Power of Human Connections in Health and Health Care,” will offer invaluable insights into the intersection of social relationships and well-being.

The remaining 2024 honorees will present insightful lectures, including:
