back arrow Back To News
Effective 1 October 2015, the CITI Program will replace the Working with Animals in Biomedical Research – Refresher course with an updated version of the course entitled Working with the IACUC – Refresher. This change is being brought to your attention because your organization utilizes the Working with Animals in Biomedical Research – Refresher course.

What does this change entail?

Existing Working with Animals in Biomedical Research – Refresher gradebooks will be updated to include current versions of the Working with the IACUC – Refresher modules. This will occur automatically on 1 October 2015 or your organization can request for the updates to be made prior to that date.

What do your learners need to do?

Learners will have to restart the new Working with the IACUC – Refresher course if they have not completed their existing Working with Animals in Biomedical Research – Refresher course prior to 30 September 2015.

What do you and your organization need to do?

Organizations may wait for the automatic update to occur on 1 October 2015 or they may now begin working with the CITI Program’s Help Desk to update their course(s). Organizations may also consider reviewing their ACU learner group selections and the subsequent enrollment question(s) to determine whether anything should be added, removed, or updated.

Contact the CITI Program Help Desk at support@citiprogram.org to discuss curriculum or enrollment questions edits.
