Description

Compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the 21st century is more than simply meeting the letter of the law but expanding our concepts and understanding of access. This webinar provides an overview of the purpose and implications of Section 504 and the ADA while also discussing barriers, access, inclusion, and implications regarding accommodations, ADA, and Section 504 in a higher education setting. Lastly, it expands our concepts of access through reframing disability and examining principals of universal design.
